Friends, Family, FHE

This weekend was full of friends and family. Friday night our friends Mitch and Taylor came over and watched our new favorite movie with us... TANGLED! Jesse and I have seriously watched it about five times since it came out on DVD. Not only is it the cutest movie Disney has ever made, it is also the movie we saw right before Jesse proposed to me. Anywho, we had fun with the soon-to-be-married couple just talking, watching the movie, and eating ice cream. Even though Jesse and I are apparently an old, boring marrried couple who can't even make it through a whole movie without falling asleep...
Saturday night we went and saw Hanna with Brent and Tasha. It was quite violent, but entertaining none the less. And, the music? Wonderful. I will be buying the soundtrack. Ryan and Brady met us at Olive Garden afterwards for dinner. I honestly was with some of my favorite people. People who make me laugh more than anyone else. It was a great time. We went and watched Tron at the parentals house after dinner, but of course, Jesse and I were falling asleep so we went home to bed:)
Sunday... what a wonderful day! We attened our married ward for the first time. Despite the fact that meetings begin at 8 a.m., we enjoyed it very much. Everyone was very welcoming and nice to us. We came home and took the best four hour nap. Then it was off to dinner at his house. I always love going to the Yandows home because I am so close to his parents and siblings. After dinner, we all sat around and sang songs while Michael played the piano and Jesse played the guitar. It sounds really weird, and awkward, but it wasn't. It was so fun! We ended singing hymns and seriously, the spirit was so strong. Just by a couple of family members singing songs together. It was so peaceful. I was reminded how much of an impact music can have on a person. I want my home to always have good music so my future kids can feel what I felt on Sunday. Thanks for a wonderful sabbath day, family!:)

Mama Kim and Jon:)
Monday for FHE Jesse and I and Chris and Treg went to Mike and Rachel's. Rachel made dinner for everyone and Mike gave the lesson. He taught us about being prepared, both physically and spirituality. Being the child I am, I learned a lot. It was so much fun being with family! I am so blessed to have such amazing people and examples in my life.
Alright, that's it! You've made it through my last couple days:)
