Timing Is Everything

On Wednesday during our morning prayer together, Jesse mentioned to keep me safe multiple times. I thought it was a little strange until later in the day. I now know why he asked for protection that day...
I may have gotten in an accident. And my car might have been totaled. No, no may or mights, that did happen. My eyes were off the road for a split second and that was the result. I ran into a stopped car in front of me at a stop light going 45 mph. How I am not in the hospital right now, I don't know. I am beginning to think Jesse's prayer kept me safe. Besides some bruises and whip lash, I, and the boy in the car I hit, are completely fine. I was a little shaken for a while. And am so, so grateful it was not worse! It scared me so bad, though! Things like that don't really happen, right? I always thought I would never be the one to get in a car crash. But, I was proved wrong. I am still waiting to figure out exactly what I am supposed to learn from this whole ordeal. I sure have learned, though, that timing is everything. If I wouldn't have gone home sick from work, if I would have forgot something and had to go back or if the light would have been green, Jesse and I would not be searching for a car right now. I have also learned that our lives could change in a second. I could lose Jesse in a second. Thus, we both decided to be extra careful from now on.

Anyway, that is my story!

The End.

I am so happy you were safe! Sorry about the car but glad that USAA came through for you.We have used them for 40 years now and never regretted it. We also feel that all the prayers for safety daily have helped us many times. Love you!
