Father's Day Sunday

What could be better than celebrating our fathers on a Sunday? Probably, nothing. I forget how much I LOVE Sunday. Now that I work every other Sunday, I really treasure the weekends I have off. I get so caught up during the week with work and other stresses that I sometimes forget to just sit, take a breath, and read my scriptures. On Sunday we get to focus on the gospel for at least three hours, if not more. Then usually the rest of the day is spent with the family. Those are really the only two things I need in my life. I need to remember during the week to keep my priorities straight; and the gospel and family are at the top of that list. Anyway, enough rambling, although I worked on Father's Day, I got to spend the night with my daddy and family. We had an amazing dinner and then just sat around and talked forever. Well, everyone else did, I might have fallen asleep during all the fun...

But the most important thing I want to write about is my Dad. I am not going to write a big long post about how I have the best dad in the world, that's not what it is about. It is about how my dad has been the perfect dad for me and my family. He is amazing and nothing short of that. He is one of the hardest working people I know. He would do ANYTHING for anyone, but especially his family. I am thankful for everything my dad does for me. Thank you for being such a great example. I love you, daddy!:)

I told him I needed a picture for the blog and so he pointed to himself and said, "This blog is about me!"

Happy Father's Day!

That was great Alysha! You do have a great, hard working father who does everything he can for those he loves. It was a great Sunday visiting with all the family. I feel like you do, Sunday is for church and family time.
