Curtis Turns One!

Last week we celebrated Curtis' first birthday! Rachel and Kim worked so hard to put together a party for the cute boy. They invited family and friends over for a barbecue. We ate lots of food, sat around and talked, and watched Curtis eat his cake and open presents. Unlike most one year olds I've seen, he didn't dive into his cake. He just cried. It was quite cute. Then, we watched a slide show of Curtis' first year that Rachel made. It was the cutest thing! I want to do that for each of my children. Did this slide show make me want to have a baby even more? Yes, it most definitely did. Only three more years! (give or take:)) Anyway, happy birthday to Curtis! We love him very much and are enjoying watching our first nephew grow up!

(Of course my camera died just minutes into the event. I will just have to steal some from my sister when she puts them on her blog...)

The family bought him a lacrosse stick and ball... starting him young! ;)
