Internet Sminternet

Jesse has been telling me I should write about our normal days and not just when we go do something fun. Even though our days are usually the same everyday, sometimes things that make us laugh happen and I think he is right, I should write about them. We have been moved into our new apartment for a few days now (post about this coming soon!) but hadn't set up our internet until a couple days ago. So, we called Comcast and got it all set up and were told we needed to get a cable modem; either from them or we needed to purchase one. Figuring my dad would own one and let us use it, we told them we didn't want to borrow one of theirs. After we hung up with them we found out that my dad surprisingly did not own one. We then decided to go buy one from Best Buy. Unfortunately, the Best Buy in Orem was sold out of these. As was the American Fork store. And the Sandy one, too. As you can imagine, we were a little frustrated by this point because it was the only day we both had off and it was almost nine, which is when all the stores closed. We both were laughing so hard, though! Jesse would get mad and then just look at me and laugh. So, we gave up and went to Costa Vida. (obviously the fastest relief of stress:)) We saw Chris and Kim as we were headed out of the parking lot and decided we would meet them at their home to eat together. We enjoyed a delicious meal with Jesse's family before heading back to our apartment. Before going to bed we decided to hang up frames I had been wanting to put up. In the middle of all this, Jesse decided to get a drink. I was talking to him while he was doing so and he was making the "oh yeah? Really? Cool, Lysh" face when he decided to spit his water all over my face! And then get more water and do it again! And again! I was soaking wet and he was laughing probably the hardest I have ever seen him laugh. It's his little boy laugh. It's so cute! Obviously some running around the house, extreme laughter on my part, and wrestling followed this. I know some may read this and think this is a stupid story and has no point, but it's my journal and I will remember how much fun I had with Jesse this night. We were both stressed, funny, and happy all at once. I love spending my days with my best friend. And... yes, we finally got a modem from Comcast and now have internet:)
