That Mom Of Mine...

I have been so blessed by having such an amazing mom this past little while. I am amazed at how my mom is. She never does anything for herself. Ever. She is all about serving others, especially her family. She helps her kids out as much as she can. She offers her home, time, money, food, listening ear, and love whenever we need it. Without a doubt, she is an angel in my life.

Yesterday I recognized all this more than ever. After not feeling well for a while, my mom decided to do some research, find what I needed, and then make sure I got all that was going to help me. First, she bought me some groceries from Costco I had been needing, and said "Don't worry about it!" when I offered to pay her back. Then, we headed to Rite Aid and Good Earth to buy lots of different vitamins and food for me. She knew that they were all things that were too expensive for Jesse and I to pay for and said she would buy it all because she wanted me to be better and not to suffer. Isn't she the greatest? I feel so bad when she offers to pay for that much but am SOO grateful. When I was driving home, I called Jesse to tell him what my mom had done for me and almost started crying. I felt such gratitude toward her yesterday!

I am so lucky and blessed to have my mommy! I know I can go to her for anything and count on her to help me out. I have found myself saying lately, "I want to be a mom just like my mom." I would be happy to turn out half as amazing as she is. I love my mom and can't imagine my life without her. Thanks for all you do, mother! :)
