Happy Birthday, Dad!

Yesterday we celebrated my dad's 52nd birthday! We had a delicious dinner at home and then we went around and everyone told their favorite story about my dad. It was fun reminiscing about my his childhood and funny stories that happened with us.

The story I told is one that I will remember forever. It was the day of TDT's end of the year dance concert during my senior year. This concert was especially special because I knew it would be the last time I would probably dance on a stage. Sadly, my dad was going to be out of town on a business trip. I was super sad that he wasn't going to be there because he has always supported me and been to all of my concerts. Well, the night of the concert I walk out on stage and look in the audience and guess who I see? My daddy... sitting in the third row with the rest of my family. I started crying! (Just ask Hill who was standing next to me haha) That was the greatest moment. My dad rushed home as fast as he could after changing flights just so he could make it to the concert. He is the sweetest. I was so thankful for him at that moment and that he could see his little-woman dance one more time :)

I love my Papa so much and am grateful for all that he does! I hope he had a great birthday! :)
