Labor Day Weekend
This year for Labor Day weekend we headed to St. George for a little family trip. We met Karrissa, Joe and the girls there. Their friend let us borrow a house they have there for the weekend, which was super great. This weekend mostly consisted of...
1. food
2. laughter
3. movies
4. iphones
5. more food with lots of calories
6. a sick Alysha
7. the two cutest girls entertaining us
8. a wonderful mother
9. games
10. sleep
When we got there Friday night, we settled in and then went to dinner at Brick Oven before heading to see The Little Mermaid at the Tuacahn. Since there weren't enough tickets, my dad graciously gave me his so I could see the show. It was a fabulous play! The little girls absolutely loved it and kept saying, "Where's Ariel?" any time she went off stage. I was lucky to have Kylie sit on my lap the whole time:) Saturday we woke up and had a delicious breakfast then headed to the pool. It was fun to swim with everyone and see how the girls swim like "mermaids". Unfortunately, I didn't get the sun that I seriously needed. Then, we went shopping at the outlets and to Texas Road House for dinner. It was a good meal but it took way too long. Even though that time was spent laughing at my two hilarious brothers. Sunday, after going to church at the biggest ward ever, everyone went to Sand Hollow to swim. I sadly stayed home in hopes of feeling better. I was sick as a dog I tell you. We had a delicious fondue dinner and dessert that my mom and sister prepared. Dinner was followed by games and a movie. Monday we cleaned, went to the temple and to lunch, and then drove home. In between all those adventures were YouTube watching, playing hide-and-go-seek, watching the girls play mermaids, watching Babbar as a family, and laughing too much. Even though I was sick and a bum the whole time, all in all, it was a good, relaxing weekend spent with my lovely family. Thank you parents for providing! :)
