Advice?

I am thinking of running the Utah Valley Marathon in June of next year. This would be my first marathon so, any runners out there, please give me some advice!

Best training plan?

Best shoes?

Favorite routes to run?

Should I even be trying to run a marathon when I have only ran two half-marathons?

How to fix knee pain?

Any other advice you see fit...

Also, I think it would be nice to have a training buddy. (unless the husband decides to join me) So, if anyone would like to put your body through hell with me, please let me know:) The half-marathon is also still an option if I decide I'm not ready for a marathon.

Get back to me :)

Whoever you are.

When I came to visit your mom she showed me how Rory will bring the ball close to her but just far enough away that your mom will have to get to get the ball to throw it again..I explained how Sadie does the exact same thing..stinkers! I am glad her eye is okay..

Running shoes..I really love the saucony pro grid's..the cushioning is AMAZING but your hub may know again too. I love to run up Provo canyon when I wouldo training..it's pretty and you can be safer and get more mileage in that way..I believe its like 7 miles up..or if you go all the way up to South fork then farther..but again thats when you reach up to it...or whatever

If you have ran 2 half marathons then um yeah you are totaly fine to run a whole one..they say if you can run a a half you can do a whole..its just all mental. I think you will kick butt and do great. Good luck!

Email me about your knee pain and I'm sure Jake and I could help you out with how to fix it. Also, we got Brooks for running shoes and we LOVE them! That is saying something since Jake doesn't usually cheat on Nike.

Good for you! I think you are amazing to try a marathon. However, I think you will succed with your goal since a lot of it is mental. o
