Fall Break

Why not start fall break out with an allergic reaction?

Wednesday night during the last couple hours of work I started to itch like crazy! I don't know if you can see it well enough in the picture to know that a rash covered my arms and chest. I finally went home early, took some benadryl, showered, and it finally stopped itching. Fun, huh?

Thursday I slept in, cleaned, did homework, and then went to dinner with the girls! It was fun to see all my best friends (except Hillary who is in Ecuador and was very missed) and catch up on everyone's lives. I love these girls so much and am so glad we still stay in touch!

Friday was wonderful. I went to my favorite cycling class at the gym, took a nap, and then went to my mom's house. We gardened for a few hours before cooking dinner! It felt nice to be outside, plant some flowers, and play with the dogs. After dinner we watched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It was a fantastic episode! Did I cry the whole time? Yes, I did. Jesse and I didn't want to drive home, so we just slept over!  After cereal and Say Yes To The Dress, (at least 6 episodes) we all went to bed.

Saturday after Jesse took a test we went to the temple. It was beautiful as ever. Then, I was of course starving by the time we got out and wanted Costa Vida. Since a Costa salad wasn't in this month's budget, Jesse said no. But, knowing I wanted it really badly, told me that if I hummed the entire Star Wars song, he would buy me a salad. So, that is exactly what I did. Haha. Yes, you read correctly. Oh, the weird things I do for my Costa. I went to work, came home and watched Gataca with J, Treg, Chris, Brady, and Chunie, then went to bed!

Sunday... oh, Sunday. Jesse and I failed to make it to church today. Sadly, we were up really late and ended up sleeping through our alarms for 8:30 am church. But, we did get some much needed rest! After breakfast and hanging out, I went to work and Jesse went to family dinner. Besides getting poop all over my pants, work was good. Haha.. oh how I love my glamorous job.

It was a wonderful weekend off of school!! Hooray for fall break :)
