Ocho de Noviembre
Let's just say it's been a rough week for me. The whole figuring out my schooling thing has consumed my every thought, which obviously brings some frustration and tears. But my wonderful husband has been there to make every thing better. For example, after not doing as well as I wanted on one of my tests, and knowing that I will be in Las Vegas the rest of the week away from him, (I'll explain soon) he decided we would have yet another night out together.
We went to the temple, which was amazing and very needed, and then went to dinner at Applebee's. We had a gift card there, so we were lucky we didn't have to spend much. Oh, I forgot the best part of the night. Modern Warfare 3 came out and Jesse, once again, has been talking about and begging for it. Obviously I said no because we just spent enough on his last game. Then, today during school he texted me and said, "I figured out a way to buy my game!" "What did you sell?" "Nothing. Because my motorcycle is in storage now, I get refunded on my insurance!" Hahaha. Sure enough, it was just enough for his game. So, in between the temple and dinner, we made a stop by Best Buy, which made for a very happy Jesse. As of now, he is playing with Brent and Joe and loving it. I definitely don't mind because it gives me a little time to blog :) Anyway, I am so happy I got to spend tonight with Jesse. We always have so much fun together.
Oh, and about Vegas... I am flying to Las Vegas tomorrow with my dad because my sister is having her baby on Thursday! Words cannot describe how excited I am! 1. I get a new nephew 2. I get to hold my new nephew all weekend long and pretend he is mine 3. I get to be in the room for the delivery. 4. I get to play with my sweet nieces for five days. 5. I get to spend time with my family in a warm city. Looking forward to these things is definitely something that helped me get through the past week. It is just me and my parents going down this weekend, the rest of the family will go down next week to meet our baby boy and have a early Thanksgiving together. I cannot wait for these two weekends!
Other random thoughts for the day:
1. My sister sent me this picture of my niece the other day saying that she needed something starting with an "A" to bring for show-and-tell... and guess what she decided to bring? Her Aunt Alysha. I think I cried I was so honored. :)

2nd game in two weeks = guilty face

2. I saw these shoes while Christmas shopping at the mall the other day and I am in love. (hint, hint, Jesse...)
3. Jesse and I entertained ourselves during Stake Conference, along with listening of course, by making our Christmas lists. I thought I was pretty funny...
4. I failed to show these pictures when this actually happened but here is me at work once again getting a weird rash. I don't know what is causing it :(
5. Jesse got a 97% on his Economics test today! I am so extremely proud of him and he is so happy about it! He sure is doing good in that class... good thing it's now his major, huh? :)
Even though I am having a hard time, I need to remember how blessed I am and how many good things are going on in my life right now. I can't get caught up in my problems... I need to focus on Jesse and the gospel. That's all there is to it. But... prayers for me figuring out school, making a schedule, and getting into nursing school when we plan are always appreciated :)

Cute picture of the "A" girl. They were so excited for you to come. Last weekend they told me they had a list for you to do for them. #1 on the list was to put on fake fingernails and "M" just had to show them to me.
Have a good time.
