End of Finals Week
Finals week is over! We both finished strong and couldn't be happier it's time to take a break. This morning we woke up and automatically said, "We need to get out of bed, we have to study!" Oh, wait. Nope! Not for two weeks! We did a couple fun things this week to celebrate...
On Wednesday night I pulled Jesse away from studying to go to my work Christmas party. It was pretty fun! We ate a delicious dinner, met some co-workers, and they had a raffle and gave out lots of prizes. When my number was called I was extremely excited to pick from the plethora of wrapped presents, but as shy as I am, I got nervous and didn't want to keep everyone waiting and just grabbed the first thing I saw, which happened to be the squishiest and lightest one there. It was a Christmas pillow and blanket, cute huh? That's what I thought until the person after me opened a crockpot, then a portable DVD player, then a Wii... Let's just say Jesse was a little disappointed and angry. He kept saying. "Seriously? You picked the lightest one?! Why?" Hahaha. From then on I decided to be oh so happy with my little pillow :) I even came home and put it on our bed just to make him mad.
Thursday night was Brooke's bridal shower with the girls, combined with our annual Christmas party. We went up to Hillary's cabin and ate pizza and treats, played games, opened presents, talked a lot about random girl things, watched a slideshow I made of us seven, watched a movie, and finally fell asleep. It was so great to spend time with my best friends. They honestly are the greatest girls and I love that we are still apart of each other's lives.
When I got home in the morning I got ready and went shopping with my mom. We obviously ate at Taco Time before heading to the mall to finish our Christmas shopping. I finally got all of Jesse's presents! We went home and wrapped everything while listening to Christmas music. It was wonderful. I love spending days like that with my mom. Jesse came home and we headed up to West Valley with Chris and Treg to meet Cade and Bridgette. We ate at Stockman's then went to the new Mission Impossible movie. It was a fun night out with friends and famliy. I love being with Chris and Treg! We are lucky we live so close and get along so well.
We are now looking forward to a very busy but exciting week!

We were just SOOO excited about our pillow! Well, that, and Jesse said, "we took a picture just like this yesterday, just use that and say we were here." So he was mocking me.
A proud owner of a new Christmas pillow :)
