Yet Another Weekend
This weekend past (Jesse's last as a 23 year old!) was a good one.
On Friday the whole ROTC group got together at Xtreme Air Sports for dinner and lots of jumping around fun. Cadets, their wives and families, and big tramps and foam pits... you can imagine how much fun we had! All the boys were wrestling, pushing each other into the pit, and doing strange tricks... it was quite entertaining. And, who knew Jesse was so talented at flipping and such?! Plus, I got to relive some gymnastics days and whip out a few tricks also, which is always fun. A whole bunch of us went and saw the movie Red Tails afterwards, but this time Eliza joined us :) It was a fun night out getting to know the other members of ROTC. That night I spent hours at my parents house catching up on The Bachelor...:)
Saturday we both slept in until 11 am or so and it felt glorious! Then I headed off to work for the night while Jesse studied and got sushi with Luiz.
Sunday after church, visiting teaching, naps, and homework, we celebrated Jesse's birthday at my parent's house. Delicious dinner and dessert and watching The Biggest Loser was all it took to have a good night.
Now we are back to a busy, busy, even more busy week. Luckily we get to have some fun for Jesse's birthday on Wednesday!
