Jesse's 24th Birthday

On January 25th we celebrated Jesse's 24th birthday! Because his actual birth day was mostly filled with 5:30 a.m. drill practice and school, we spread the celebration throughout the week.

The Sunday before his birthday we had dinner and dessert with my family. Mom and dad made the perfect "Jesse" meal and he loved it!

Wednesday Jesse woke up real early for practice but I was thrilled to get out of bed and see my man in his uniform and wish him a happy birthday! I'm glad he was surprised by his balloons, presents, and breakfast! ... I had to get two different pictures of course :)

After school and homework, we went to Happy Sumo with Michael, Chris, Treg, Brady, and Marissa. It was absolutely delicious and always fun to be with the fam. We stopped by both the parentals to open a few presents!

Tonight Jesse got new running shoes, a blue-ray player, money, treats, and that shirt he is wearing :)

Friday, even though this wasn't really for his birthday, we went to my parents house to play games and hot tub with everyone! Brent, Tash, Ryan, Trevor, Chris, Treg, Brady, Marissa, Luiz and Eliza. Balderdash with a group like that is always a fun time. Lots of laughter and tears. Sadly, Jesse started getting sick with a cold :(

Saturday morning me, Jesse, and my parents went up to the aerospace museum at Hill Air Force Base. I thought taking Jesse to see all the planes would be the perfect birthday gift! My dad is a plane-freak as well, so they had fun discussing all the different planes. It was fun to be with my parents and see some of the planes Jesse could possibly be flying. He was seriously in heaven and I couldn't have been happier! We went to Red Robin for lunch, drove home, and met up with CC and Luiz at Eliza's dance concert. Treats and Parks and Rec were of course followed by Liza's amazing performance! :)

Sunday Jesse wasn't feel well at all, so I stayed home from church with him. We watched Lord of the Rings almost the entire day. We finally made it off the couch to go to family dinner! We celebrated Jesse and how great he is with dinner, presents, and dessert. We have such an amazing family and are so very blessed. 

I am so grateful for Jesse and I loved celebrating him all week long. He is the most amazing man and husband, and always takes such good care of me. I hope you had a fantastic 24th, babe! I love you! :)
