Weekend Update
We had such a great weekend!
Friday night Jesse and I, and my friend from work Heidi and Jesse's friend Trevor, went on a double date! We ate at Costa (surprise, surprise), went bowling, and saw Act of Valor. I seriously had so much fun! I love being with miss Heidi, both at and outside of work. The movie Act of Valor was really good! It was the first rated R movie I have ever seen… but I let myself see it because it was about the military. We all felt extremely proud to be an American afterwards. We are lucky to have such amazing men serving our country!
Saturday was a fun-filled day! Jesse was assigned to spray-paint the rifles for the competition this weekend, so that is what he did all day. A few other cadets were in and out all day which was very helpful. My parents were nice enough to let us use their garage… which also means my mother supplied food for everyone all day! We were spoiled! She made waffles for breakfast and then provided pizza, salad, and fruit for lunch. While the boys did their thing, I hung inside with the fam and went to Costco with my parents. Finally around 5 they finished and Jesse and I hurried home, got ready, and met up with our friends for a session at the Timpanogos Temple. It was wonderful and so great to be with people we love dearly. We of course made a trip to Denny's afterward and had a fantastic time. We are so very blessed to have such amazing friends so close by that are in the exact situation as us.
Sunday after church, where I spent two hours in nursery :), we watched a few episodes of The Office, took a nap, and went to my parents house for dinner. It was delicious as always, followed by watching The Academy Awards… woohoo!
It started out with a lovely two hours with this girl and that smoothie. After two hours of waiting for my class to start, I found it was canceled.. and then found that the one after that was canceled as well. I could have went home like three hours earlier!! But whatever… I just LOVE hanging out at UVU all day.

The whole drill team went to the movie together… with a few stragglers such as myself :)
