ROTC Dining Out
Tuesday night was the ROTC's annual Dining-Out. I was excited to get dressed up and have a nice dinner with Jesse and our friends. There are rules that all the cadets are supposed to follow at dinner so Jesse and I went over those a couple times so he wouldn't get grogged. Oh, what's grogged you ask? They do this funny thing where if you see someone else not following one of the rules or not dressed correctly, you can call them out on it. If you get called out you have to fill a cup up of this gross combination of stuff out of a toilet bowl and drink it in front of everyone. The first person to stand up called out about 20 cadets who left their nametags on… apparently that wasn't allowed. So, Jesse got grogged. The whole thing was quite amusing.
After the grogging, watching a slideshow, and the presentation of the flag, there were a few speakers. There was some very inspirational things said, mostly for Jesse. There was a dance after and although I was very tempted, Jesse and I were too tired to stay.
I am looking forward to many more of these special nights!

I love that Maddy's fiance is in the ROTC too!
Those three boys right there are just my favorite.
