This Week's Fun

Week 2 went a little something like this:

The girls came to visit!

Karrissa and Joe dropped the girls off at Grandma's on their way to Georgia to look at houses. I LOVE when my nieces come to visit! They are probably the coolest people I know, really. Jesse and I spent the night at my parents house multiple times over the time they were here just so we could hang out with them and help my mom out. I get a little camera happy when they are around… I apologize.

If my children are anything like them, I will be more than happy.
I quite enjoy having a mini-me all week.
Jesse just gets get up… They love him, don't worry.
It's blurry, but I think this picture is so funny! Jesse trying to have M lift weights and her face is classic.
Just being a goofball watching So You Think You Can Dance
We wanted to go to the zoo but the pouring rain lead us to the aquarium instead!
While we were at the aquarium, Jesse and my dad went to the air show at Hill AFB with high hopes it wouldn't get rained out. But after miles of walking and soaked clothes later, they drove home. Turns out after they left, the rain stopped and lots of the planes got to fly. How sad, huh? A nap is almost as cool a seeing your dream plane fly, right?

Next up: Some randoms of the week

My boss at work handed out these AWESOME pins that say "Nursing Assistant: Caring is our Calling"! Bahaha…. let's just say that was the quote of the night.
The most pointless workout we've ever done. But a good time was had… that's all that matters.
Some of my friends and I celebrated Brooke's birthday over dinner at Chilis! :)
Because the new Diablo game came out, this is how some of our nights turn out.
Ryan and I laid out in my mom's backyard with Rory and studied. Finally got some sun on that white skin of mine!
I got my hair done! Back to dark!
While I was getting my hair done, I was reading this magazine that had a quiz Kim Kardashian filled out… "You'd be surprised to know that I've never gone #2 or passed gas." Really, Kimmy? You've never pooped before? Bahaha. I loved it.
I brought Jesse and Brady lunch! We just sat on the floor and ate and talked :)
 This made my day ;)
On Sunday, after church and a few hours of work, Jesse and I ate dinner at his house, watched some planet earth with the fam, and talked about the upcoming events!!

These past couple days have been so exciting for the Lanham/Yandow family!

1. Mark turned 16 on Memorial Day! Kim threw a big barbecue for friends and family. We ate lots of delicious food, played badminton, and opened presents. It really was a lot of fun. I'm glad I married into such an awesome family!
 The handsome birthday boy

2. Eliza and Hannah graduated from high school! I sadly couldn't make it to Hannah's actual graduation, but we had a fun party afterwards with her! The whole family was able to attend Eliza's, which was awesome! We celebrated with dessert after!

They are so beautiful and I am so proud of them!
This is mostly what happened during graduation… Jess, Brady, Jon and I were a little bit out of control.

I love when Mark and Jess play together!

3. Brady put his mission papers in!! He should be getting his call next week. We are seriously so excited for him! :)

4. Sarah and Phil got engaged! Woohoo!

Wow! We made it. It was a busy, but wonderful, week!
Also… I cannot wait for Christmas.. I'm hoping Santa brings me a real camera… :)

Wow! That was a busy week. I loved all the photos. You have great families to do fun things with. Those little girls are precious & I am glad we did get to see them once. It was nice that that you were able to attend one of the graduations. Sorry that Jesse & your Dad got rained out at HAFB. I know Jesse had looked forward to seeing all the planes. Keep posting photos I enjoy them & you will be happy you have documented your life.
Love that you take such good care of my girls! They love you so much!!
