It's All The Same

I swear every week is the same. Jesse works, I go to school, we watch a show at my parents house a few nights a week, we watch a lot of late night t.v., exercise when we can, and we sleep. Occasionally we throw some new, fun things in, because we are exciting like that. Last week was no different (I think it was last week.. maybe the week before… these summer days are starting to blur together). I'm starting to think this little life of ours doesn't have anything blog-worthy going on right now… and yet, here I am.

Wednesday night yoga with Tash and mom
Watching SYTYCD with mine and Rory's favorite treat :)
Exciting new for me: I got a new swim suit to start swimming laps in to temporarily replace running. It's been going great!
Jesse has been taking practice AFOQT test every Saturday to prepare for the real test in July. Slightly exciting, eh?
Of course, this is what I do while timing his test. Little Jon saw this and called me "a living human beaver".

Here's where our week was a little different than our usual weeks! Jesse and I drove up to West Valley to spend the day with Cade and Bridget. After swimming at Cade's pool and getting ready, we were in the car on our way to go to sealings at the temple. But, little miss lyshy-poo decided to let mother nature bring her the cramps of the century. I embarrassingly started crying and felt so bad that we turned around to head back to their apartment. The boys went to the bike shop while Bridget and I laid on heating pads and watched about 1,000 episodes of The Office. The men brought back Costa Vida, sushi, and a Redbox to make our night a little better. It was quite a pleasant day. We love having newlywed friends :)
 He's quite the guy...

On Sunday we decided to try out the family ward. We have been wanting to switch over to there from the married ward but just haven't. We really enjoyed being there, having a variety of different people, and feeling a little more at home. We had our records transferred there and everything! We drove Jesse's boss' motorcycle home for dinner with my family, then played a few badminton games with his family. What a good Sunday.

But 9 o clock church makes for a sleepy Jaybird
We even gave the bike a nice wash :)
