Jesse's Flight Lesson

Mr. Jesse Kenneth finally scheduled the half-hour flight my parents gave him for Christmas. So, on June 6th he had his first, real flight lesson! Words cannot describe how much he loved it, or even how much I loved that he loved it. I told him to call me after he was done but instead I received this text…

…followed by lots of pictures. I believe tears were in my eyes. Later that night he told me all about it and how excited he is to get to do that for a career. And, let me tell you, he was seriously so happy the whole day! Like, he's just a normal, regular mood kind of guy, but today, he was just plain happy all day! Even if sometimes it scares me to death thinking about what he will be doing, if it's going to make him THAT happy, by all means, fly baby bird, fly!

I believe after today, he will keep working as hard as he can to get a pilot slot.
