July 24th & 25th

Our Pioneer day was packed full! Jesse and Braden ran in the Speedy Spaniard 10k race in the morning with their coworkers. As early as it was, I loved being there to see Jesse at the finish line! The Halifax flooring team did so awesome! Jesse ran extremely hard (6:45min/mi pace) and sadly, was sick the rest of the day! Poor guy!

After a nice nappy nap, Eliza, Treg and I had fun shopping for beach trip stuff! We had lunch, talked about girly things, and tried on lots and lots of clothes! I gained some pretty awesome sisters when I got married! I met my family at Tucanos for dinner after that, which makes any day great, holiday or not! That night the Lanham/Yandow family had a little meeting about North Carolina! Kim and Pa were so cute and gave each of the kids a little present full of airplane essentials; treats, games, toys… it was great. Words cannot describe our excitement for this vacation! 

On the 25th we attended Sarah's first endowment session at the temple! What a special moment that was! We all went to eat at Chili's after… the perfect night!
