I am realizing how much I haven't blogged about! Nothing too big, just little things I would like to be posted. Soooo… here's a little catch up from a while ago.
One of our last summer canyon runs. It. was. the. worst. Jesse thought it would be fun to run during the hottest part of the day. Guess what? It wasn't. I believe I cried. I walked half the time. Jesse was bothered. I felt bad. It just wasn't good all around. But sweet J stayed with me and tried to help me feel better the whole way.
Random snap shot from our crazy work outs. Oh, how I miss these days. The summer is the best because we get to work out 1. together and 2. for more than 45 minutes like I do now.
While my sister was in town, her and the kids brought me lunch while I was studying. I obviously also took a quick shopping break…:)
Besties. Love them.
Many nights of Costa Vida and SYTYCD happened… my favorite.
The biggest thing that happened in August was Brady leaving on his mission! He left a few days after we got back from NC. His farewell talk was incredible. I love him so much and am SO proud of him choosing to serve the Lord.
Oh yeah, we moved. With this semester being very important in school and all, Jesse and I decided to move to his parents house for the semester. This will make it so we have to work less, giving us more time to focus on our classes. Yes, it's not the ideal circumstance for a young married couple, but we are trying to look at it as a very big blessing. We are grateful for our families for always being willing to help out.
We did the move the day after we got back from NC. Moving doesn't bring out the best of Jesse and I… making it a rough couple of days. All the stress made for a very sick Lysha. I got a really bad cold the day we moved. I couldn't stand without getting dizzy, so my sweet mom and mom-in-law helped me out so much by putting everything away for me.
One random night while the whole family was in town, my parents asked us to come over for a meeting about a trip to Washington and dinner. We showed up to a table full of presents! My dad had surprised all of us with a special gift! I got a new camera and J-bird got 5 HOURS OF FLYING! It was so sweet of my parents… love them!
Testing out the new cam...
