Conference Weekend

General Conference weekend is the best. We not only get the amazing opportunity of listening to inspired prophets, but we do it while relaxing and eating good food with family. My relief society had tickets to the General Relief Society Meeting so we all went up and enjoyed an incredible meeting and ate at Zupas after. There were seriously so many great talks… it deserves its own post.  The next weekend was the BYU football game and general conference. I worked all day friday, which I loved, and then came home to delicious food at my parents house for the game. At least Jesse got some good food in him before having to clean the stadium…. poor kid. Saturday morning Jesse and I were kind of the worst. We both had to miss the first session to take a test (93% on my chemistry test!!) and then we both fell asleep at 1:30pm and didn't wake up until the second session was over. Luckily, J woke up just in time for the priesthood session. I cleaned our bathroom, did laundry, and took an online test while he was gone… oh the joys of "girls night!". Our families met up at China Village for dinner afterwards which was just delightful. That night Jesse and I were WIDE AWAKE! Apparently sleeping for four hours in the day will do that to ya. We used our time wisely and each watched about three episodes of our shows, on separate computers of course, in bed. 3:30 am rolled around and we both needed a bowl of cereal, which ended the night on a good note. Sunday was listening to incredible talks, eating delicious food, and playing games with the siblings. It was a wonderful few days!

I'm so grateful for conference. It is such a blessing being able to be uplifted and guided by inspired words. I can't wait to re-read and listen to the talks and be able to dig deep into what was said.

There were so many women there! How amazing.
I had never been to Zupas before and let me tell you… it was delightful. Let me eat this for lunch every day and I will be happy. Please.
Chubbiness at it's finest.
 Maaa boys.
 Perfect. My fave. (not).

Looks like you had a great conference weekend and got the most important things done.

I liked the pictures of the RS meeting. I am happy you got to go with your Mother and Kim and girls. Zupas is a great place to eat. I love it too. I have a tendency to eat the same thing every time, though.
