Parade. Run. Shop. Party.

Two Saturday's ago Jesse and I had such an awesome day… it went a little like this.

1. Watch Jesse march/spin in the BYU morning parade. Yes, I went to a parade by myself, but I got some cute pics of J spinning that rifle, so it was all worth it.

2. After the parade, Jesse and I went on an INCREDIBLE run in the canyon. I haven't really ran since that half marathon in June, so I was a bit worried, but it was perfect. We just did 5 miles up to Bridal Veil falls and back and it was so beautiful the whole way. Plus, spending time with Jess AND getting exercise at the same time… win, win. We got to talk and enjoy nature… it was delightful.
Our poor children will have such wrinkly faces/eyes. It's fine.

3. We were driving home from our run to go home to cleaning and studying, but then Jesse took a slight detour to Taylor Maid and said we needed to pick out our Halloween costumes. In our sweaty run clothes, of course. It was weirdly a lot of fun. We picked out some awesome stuff… secrets, secrets.

4. Party time. My sister-in-law Tasha threw a murder mystery party for all our closets family and friends. Lets just say.. it was awesome. We all had so much fun dressing up, getting into character, and laughing. Laughing lots. I am so blessed to have such great people to do things with.
 Well done, Ryan, well done.
 It got a little crazy...

It was such an amazing, fun, productive day! If only every weekend could be this great…

Wow! That was some weekend! I don't know how you could part hearty after that 5 mile run, though.

That party looked fabulous. All the pictures were great. What possessed Ryan to go as a girl. Because his father went as Janet one Halloween when he was in 4th grade & fooled his grandparents so well they didn't believe it was him.

Everybody looked great! I guess Tasha is the party queen.
