Halloween Activities

I've never been a HUGE fan of Halloween. I'm not too into carving pumpkins or dressing up, but this year wasn't too bad and I did all the things I usually don't like.

First on the list, the ROTC Sweetheart & Spouses group thought it would be fun to get all the couples together and carve pumpkins and have a fire with s'mores. I got everything ready for it at my parents house and it turned out pretty good!

Next up, pumpkin carving with family and friends! We had a fun time carving pumpkins, drinking hot chocolate, and playing Balderdash. Turns out, I probably don't like carving pumpkins because I'm terrible at it. It's fine. I made a heart in mine… it was so cute.

Lastly, the party we went to on Halloween night! Jesse's family always has a costume party where we eat lots of treats and play games. Plus, there is always a costume contest and the winner gets a prize! Jesse and I won the "best couple" award! We were quite proud. I love having awesome family and friends to do things with like this.
