I'm Always Playing Catch Up
Here is what our lives have been up to… according to my iPhone pictures…:)
The drill team performed at an elementary school and the kids loved it! Although I missed Jesse actually performing, I walked in right at the end when all the kids were clapping and cheering, which was worth missing class for, I guess. I honestly love Jesse's friends from ROTC, they are always super sweet to me and are happy when I come support them.
Jesse is the second from the left...
Random little boy wanted a picture with them!
We love our temple nights together.
Jesse and I attended the military ball a few weekends ago. We dressed up, met the colonel and his wife, did the macarena a few times, and then went to La Jolla Groves with another cadet and his date. I worked a 12 hour shift right before this, so I was super tired, and went straight to bed after dinner. Boring, boring.
They're besties.
Some random snapchat picture I'm sure…
I worked the day in snowed like crazy! Scraping off my car is one of my top five least favorite things. Hands down.
Jenny's bridal shower was so great. We ate treats, talked to friends, and ooed and awed at all the cute, tiny clothes she got. Do I want a baby? Most definitely.
Cute, little Rife.
Jesse and the 12-man drill team performed in the Jazz game halftime show. I wasn't planning on going because I thought tickets would be expensive, but my brother saw that city deals had them for cheap! The whole fam bought tickets and we headed up to SLC. We went to dinner at Buca di Beppo and then headed to the game. I wanted to surprise Jesse so I sent him a picture of us driving in the car and our dinner and said "The fam went out to dinner.. next up, the JAZZ GAME!!" Jesse obviously didn't understand what I meant because he said, "Oh how fun! I don't think they show the halftime performances on t.v., but maybe." Ha… no, no honey. So, a picture of me outside Energy Solutions helped him figure it out. He was super excited everyone came to watch! Basketball games aren't really our thing, but we had fun sitting at the very top watching the little ants throw a ball around.
Get it, J? We are AT the game!
Sam was out of control. Poor people around us had to listen to us laughing the whole time…
The great night took a quick turn when we had to walk to our car in the BLIZZARD! We were soaking wet. And I could have sworn someone moved our car farther away than where we parked it.
Just a little Sunday night watching Nacho and eating popcorn with Mitch and Tay. Loved every minute of it.
Bad news: Our car (the one Jesse drives) broke down again. Goodbye $500. We didn't need you anyway. Good news: I got to drive Jesse around for a few days, giving us extra time together!
The night before FTPI (field training preparation inspection) the boys shining shoes and ironing shirts.
Breaking Dawn with miss C.C. It was a terrible movie, with terrible acting, and terrible special effects. Did I still love it? Of course.
Cute cadets after doing AWESOME at FTPI!!
They even got matching watches… cutest besties.
After dinner at China Village with the fam, we made a quick trip to Wally Mart to get treats and Brave, the movie.
We first had to watch The Office, of course. Yes, Jesse was doing sit ups while I was sitting on my ace eating hot cheetos. I'm healthy, too.
Saw this on FB. Thought it was funny. And true. And my life one day.
Last shift before Thanksgiving break! This is usually how our breaks go.
The end. "Real" posts to come.

The picture of you and Jesse, with you in the red sweater is the one I want for my Christmas gift; a 4x6 for the refrigerator.
You also got to see Ayden as an 'ant' performing at the game the same night. I want to see him perform one time. I have a hard time putting out the kind of money they want for tickets, though.
Keep up the good work of posting. The family will be here soon from GA. Yay!! get to see those 3 cute kids again.
