Weekend Fun
I love weekends. It's the time when Jesse and I get to spend time together and do fun stuff! Even if I do force him to stop doing his homework to do it, we try to get the most out of this time.
Two weeks ago after work, Jesse and I went to Zupas with Mike and Rachel and then watched a movie with my family. Simple, but great. It was such a good day at work. First, I love my job dearly and am so blessed to work with and take care of the people that I do. One of the physical therapists at work gave me her smoothie…bonus! One of my patients who was leaving the next day was handing out thank you gifts. It was popcorn from his hometown and a cute card… sweetest man ever.
To make the day even better, after a few days of snow, it was finally fall again!
No matter the day… 12 hours of doing CNA work always ends in looking like a goof.
Zupas was delicious as usual. Conversation great. People even better. I'm just a little bit crazy about this guy...
Sunday was great! After church, homework, and naps, we celebrated Eliza, Chris, and Michael's birthday. Most of the family was there for dinner, gifts, and dessert. Every time we get together like this I am overwhelmed with love for them and feeling blessed with such great people in my life.
Yet again, we made the most of our weekend this past Friday and Saturday. Well, Friday wasn't anything cool. I went to work, studied, took a test, and went to bed. But, Saturday was great. I worked from 6am-12pm, cleaned, did homework, took a nap, and then the night began! Jesse took me to Chilis, my favorite. We talked and talked and talked… it was so great. That's one reason I love making us go and do something together because we actually have time to talk. During the week, Jesse is too busy to tell me about his school, drill team, etc. I love giving him time to tell me all that happened throughout the week. Anyway, after dinner J had to go to this ROTC thing to clean their rifles. I am glad I get to go with him to things like that because I love those ROTC boys. They have become such good friends of ours. After that, our friends Cade and Bridget came down to stay the night! After thinking of all the things we could do, Jesse, of course, suggested going to Classic Skating. As usual, I sucked at it and Jesse was crazy good. I love that he loves it so much. We grabbed some treats on the way home and had a little slumber party in our room while watching Dumb and Dumber. Sunday was great, as well. I received a new calling! I am now a primary worker, teaching the 11 and 12 year old girls. I already love it. Let's hope I can actually teach these girls something… I know they are going to teach a me a ton!
I own so many of these pictures because this is how Jesse and I "see" each other throughout the day. Yay for work!
Feeling much better than in poopy scrubs… haha. Lovin' the weather for these clothes.
Jesse, Austin, and Bryan… my favorite boys.
Cade and Bridget skating!
Look at him… he is just beaming.
Blurry greatness.
We snowballed. Cutest.
Slumber party!
Hooray for good weekends!
