Anniversary #2

Jesse took our anniversary plans into his own hands this year. Our anniversary fell on a Tuesday… weekdays are never fun for celebrations. Or so I thought! I got this text from Jesse telling me to be ready to go with a bag packed! He isn't much of a romantic usually, so this sure made me smile. We love any days we can work out together, so to start our night off we went to the gym and had an awesome work out! From there, we drove to a cute bed and breakfast in Midway. It was SO cute! The rooms were awesome! We were the only people staying there that night so the old man and his wife that owned the place took extra good care of us. Jesse and I just had to make some jokes about the oldies cooking us breakfast and snacks, showing us around. We called the man "gramps" the whole night. Ha… so funny. We showered and went to dinner at a delicious mexican restaurant. The rest of the night doesn't need to be written… we all know what happened. TMI?

Jess and I had so much fun together! It was only one night away but it was perfect. We laughed and talked more than we have in a long time! I'm so grateful for our eternal marriage. I'm lucky to be married to my best friend. I can't wait for many more anniversaries!!

Yep. Bath robes and all. I think we had more fun taking random pictures wearing them than actually wearing them… haha. We are a gem of a couple, I tell you.

Breakfast was the cutest in the morning. Gramps' wife made us yummy food and chatted with us about who know's what. Did I mention there was a bird? He whistled at me a few times. This was just the greatest little getaway.
