Trip to Georgia

My sweet dad offered to send me and Tasha to Georgia for a week to help take my mind off Jesse being away. I am oh so grateful for him and willingness to pay for our flight to go play! I have been missing my Winward family like crazy. We had so much fun. I love being with them all week. We went to the gym, watched late night movies, went swimming, went shopping, went on a historic mansion tour and lunch, went to the museum of aviation, visited Joe at work, toured the base, celebrated Mckinley's birthday, gave baths, read bed time stories, and ate lots of good food.

Coco had her birthday day all planned out. Donuts for breakfast, Chik-fil-a for lunch, roller skating with her friends,  My Father's Place Pizza for dinner, and red velvet cake for dessert at home. Let's just say I was well fed this day :) After donuts and morning tv shows it was Chik-fil-a and skating time. I couldn't skate much cause of my knee again but I had fun dancing around and taking pictures. We went to Karrissa's spin class before going to dinner. She is an awesome teacher! I was so sad I couldn't fully cycle because of my knee but I had fun watching her teach. Tasha and I got M a voice-activated password journal and guess what? She just LOVED it. She took it everywhere with her and loved that no ones voice could open it but hers. I love my sweet Mckinley and I am so lucky to be her aunt. I can't imagine loving my children more than I love her. She's my little mini-me. I love that she likes to be like me. I hope she will think I'm cool even when she gets older :) I love you, Coco.
Trying to get Ky to enjoy skating was a bit difficult…
 The beloved journal!
Painting nails with my girls… it's tradition.
We spent the rainy, rainy afternoon at the museum of aviation in honor of Jesse. I truly am grateful for J for following his dreams of flying planes and serving our country. I may not know much about history and wars and things, but I am blessed to live in this country and have the freedoms that I do.
 Hehehe...
M and Ky said that this mannequin kind of looked like Jesse… Perfect.
Grey finally started liking me just a little… :)
The house was really pretty and huge but just not the most exciting tour in the world. But it was fun to chase Grey around everywhere :)
We went to lunch at this delicious little place then went shopping! So much fun. I love shopping with my sisters. I had to spoil myself just a little!
We picked the girls up from their first day of school and went to get froyo!
Grey decided to like me just a little bit more on the last day! He can say my name now… and it makes my heart just so happy.
We visited Joe at work and then Karrissa showed us around the base. It was fun for me to look at all the houses and everything and kind of get an idea of what my life could be like on a base.
After swimming we went to this delicious BBQ dinner… so yummy!
Karrissa read some bed time stories to us after baths :)

Tasha and I left the next morning. It was quite the trip home for me. I had the seat next to the screaming baby for the whole flight + motion sickness… not my best flight. I was happy to finally make it home just in time to get ready for school to start. I am so grateful for Joe and Karrissa's hospitality. Karrissa made us so many wonderful meals, Joe paid for some of our meals out and our treats, and just took good care of us. We had a lot of fun at night watching movies and laughing together. I loved playing with my sweet little children… I can't wait to see all of them for Ryan and Miranda's wedding soon!
