2014 Begins!
I am hoping 2014 is a wonderful year. A year of spiritual growth, healthy choices, and moving on to bigger and better things. This year Jesse will find out about his pilot slot, I will graduate from nursing school (How crazy is that?!), start my first job as a RN, go to North Carolina for a week with Jesse's family, find out where we will be moving when Jesse is done with school, and HOPEFULLY be pregnant by the end of the year! :) I want to have an exercise routine down and be making better food choices so that my body will be ready to have a baby. Is that too much to ask?! I just want a little healthy nugget to grow inside me... that's all. I want to grow even closer to Jesse and be spiritually and financially ready to move away and start our family. I want to start paying our loans off. I want to serve more people, more often and be a better visiting teacher. I want to be tons better at reading my scriptures and church talks/books. Lots and lots of wants! Lets hope I can make some of these wants and goals a reality and make it a wonderful year. I am so grateful for all that I have and am already. I just want to continue forward and see what the Lord has in store for Jesse and I.
Started off the year right with my favorite kickboxing class! Jesse got me these awesome gloves for Christmas and I love them.
My girlfriends and I got together to 1. celebrate Starlee getting engaged and 2. finally do something since it's been so long! It was so good catching up with all of them.
We of course needed to include our C.C. :) Missing her so much.
Woohoo! Can't wait for June 7th. Graduation day + Star's wedding!
The last weekend of the Christmas break we had Cade and Bridget come down to play. We went to the gym friday night, then to La Jolla Groves for dinner, and then watched a movie. We woke up and went to the gym again before they left and we spent the day with my family. We sure are grateful for these awesome friends of ours!
Saturday the 4th was our last day with Brent and Tash before they went back to Minnesota. We went to the ice castles in Midway which were pretty dang cool and then ate dinner at Slab pizza! Scum, hot chocolate, and Pitch Perfect followed, of course. It was perfect. Sunday morning after church we had a giant delicious brunch before they left to the airport. I love having B and T here to play for three weeks. So sad they left us back for real life :(
Look at his cute face.
Stole this picture from their website.. look how cool!? We all felt like Elsa the whole time.
Trapped in an ice castle...
