Christmas 2013

We had Christmas Eve with Jesse's family. We had dinner, read Luke 2 together, played games, and then opened jammies! I LOVE this family. I am so grateful for them. We did pajamas with my family (Jesse won the $20 who can put their pajamas on the fastest contest this year) and then watched our favorite Office Christmas episodes. Santa came that night and we woke up to a present-filled family room. Jesse K got a Xbox One and I got new boots and a coat from Santa. We were very spoiled by my parents and by each other. Jesse got me kickboxing gloves, clips for my cycling shoes, and beautiful necklace. I got him some shirts, a movie, a weightlifting belt and some cologne. After all the presents were done, the Rife's came over for breakfast then we went to Jesse's house for presents there and to talk to Braden! It was so good hearing Brady's voice and all his stories. I told him that I was pregnant and he believed me for a minute but I couldn't keep up the lie... so funny. If only that were true, huh? We love and miss our elder Lanham very much and can't wait for him to come home this August! Kim and Pa gave us our presents and told us to open the envelope first. Guess what was in it? OUR ITINERARY FOR ATLANTIC BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA! Woohoo! I have known about this beach trip for a couple weeks because Kim needed help so I was mostly just excited for everyone else to open theirs. August 2nd-10th we will be at the beach in the same houses we were in two years ago. I am beyond excited. I will be completely done with school by then and hopefully already have a job lined up. I am so grateful for everything this Christmas season; my families and the gospel especially.

The worlds worst Christmas Eve breakfast picture... bahaha. I can't even stand it. Look at how wonderful everyone looks!
 Kiss, kiss, kiss!
He was lovin' baby Evan all night. It was adorable.
Cute little ornament with a L on it.
 Missing our other sister :(
My dad took this picture before the chaos started and I love it. So cheery, peaceful, and beautiful.
He was just a little bit happy about this surprise!
Ever since we started dating Jesse has called me his angel. "You're the angel of my life" are even some lyrics from a song he wrote me. Adorable, right? I asked for an infinity sign necklace for Christmas but Jesse said he wanted to surprise me with an angel wing one instead. He searched and searched forever for the perfect one and finally found this one with both angel wings and the infinity sign. "Do you get it? Because you will be my angel forever." I cried of course and couldn't hug him tighter. Such a sweet gift. It will always be special to me. Thank you, Jesse K. I love you.
B got an Xbox as well and had to set it up as soon as possible!
 We love our matching T-shirts!
N.C. Beach Trip 2014! How great is this family? That's 18 people + 7 NC family members = 25 people to play with on a beach for a week! Woohoo!
