Pilot Selection

Say hello.... to the newest PILOT of the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE.... my husband, and best friend, Jesse Kenneth Lanham. 

After working so hard the past two years, Jesse put in his pilot application a couple months ago and then a couple weeks ago the cadre at ROTC did a fun little way to tell everyone which position they were selected for and he was selected as a pilot! Not everyone who wanted a pilot slot got one, so I am so proud of Jesse! He has worked SOO hard to reach this dream of his and I couldn't be more happy for him. The next step is waiting to find out which flight school he will go to. We are hoping for one in Texas and he would be the happiest human in the world if he got to go to it. Either way, any school, my Jesse will be flying planes! And that's all that matters to him. We are so excited to start this next step in our lives and see where his career in the Air Force will take us. 

You know, just a nice cheesy sign for him when he got home :)
