Time Well Spent
For a few weeks there, Jesse and I had a lot of time to spend together, which I loved. Usually we are so caught up in school that there is just no time but for some blessed reason, that was different for a few weeks. We got to work out together (which I miss like crazy), go out to eat, go to the temple, and hang out at night watching TV. We get so caught up in school and all we have going on with that that we forget how important it is to spend quality time together. It strengthens our marriage and is just plain fun.
Saturday morning swim work out. We both are having problems with our knees so we were taking it easy for a day.
Red Robin with the family!
My food baby decided to join us too
But how handsome is he?!
One morning I picked Jesse up from school and we went to the temple together and on our way back to drop him off, he was supposed to tell me how to get to his next class but he somehow lead me the way to La Jolla Groves. He said, "I want to take you to lunch! I'll make up the class later." Haha. It was quite adorable. We ate lots and lots of food and talked and laughed. It was just great.
Even just hanging out on the floor playing on our phones is fun.
TV and cereal? Yes, please.
This was the middle of February and it was sooo nice outside! So, we decided to go for a walk/run on the canal with Rory. It felt so good to finally be outside. We went to the gym after and had an incredible workout! I love days like this.
I drank this pre-workout stuff that made me a litttttlle crazy.
Trying really hard to do cool things like Jesse but just laughing instead.
Being married is the best. Our lives aren't perfect, we argue sometimes, we get stressed with school, we are lazy, we make mistakes, but I honestly wouldn't change any of it. We have so much fun together and we make each other happy. It's so nice having a best friend by your side through everything in your life. Thanks for being mine, Jesse K. You make my life grand.
