Valentines Day 2014

I say this every year... Valentine's isn't that big of a deal to Jesse and I. We say we don't need to get each other gifts because we don't need to be spending extra money and we would rather go to a nice dinner together or something. But then, being the girl that I am, think... hey... I feel like I will be sad if I don't get just a LITTLE something, huh? Is that bratty or what? So, Jesse says, "We can only spend $5 each, okay?"Anywho... My sweet Jesse always surprises me with that little something I always want. My favorite treat, a rose, and a sweet card. I got him a similar little present. That night we had a cozy night in. We picked up some Chinese food and watched one of our (mostly mine) all time favorite movie About Time. I hate that it is rated R because it just shouldn't be because it is such an amazing show that always leaves me feeling uplifted and wanting to live every day as if it were my last. Jesse of course fell asleep on my lap during it and left me to cry during our Valentine movie to myself :) 

I have so much love for so many people in my life and I hope they all know that! My parents, siblings, friends, in-laws, etc. I'm a lucky gal. 

I came home and this was on the bed! 

And of course my sweet mom always gets us kids something cute :)
