Father's Day 2014

I don't want to forget to give a small tribute post to our amazing fathers!

 Dad, Poppa, Favee, Keith… Thanks for being the best father I could ask for. You are selfless, hard-working, Christ-like, giving, loving, and supportive. Jesse and I are lucky to have you in our lives… thanks for taking care of us! Thanks for always talking about planes with Jesse and being excited about his future career. Thank you for supporting me throughout my college experience and for being proud of the woman I have become. I love you! Here is a story I will forever remember and reminds me of the wonderful man my dad is… 

My dad was going to be out of the country on a business trip for one of my last dance concerts in high school and I was extremely sad about this. He told me he was sorry and wished me luck. When I got on stage for the first time that night, I looked out in the audience and saw my dad front and center. I obviously started crying. Because I'm a baby. I had never been so happy! He missed some of his work and found the fastest flight home and drove straight from the airport, flowers and all. This is one of my fondest memories of my dad! Thanks for always supporting me. 

Chris…what a man he is! Jesse's step-dad is one of the most genuine, kind, caring, and Christ-like people I have ever met. Thank you of your love, Pa! We love you!

We didn't get to be with Jesse's dad for Father's Day but we sure thought about him! Mark is great. He accepted me into their family so warmly and has always shown us love and support. Thanks for raising an incredible son! :) 

I can't wait for next father's day… hopefully there will be a little baby growing inside me who will soon make my Jesse a FATHER! Woooohooo.
