New IMSAR Job

Jesse started working at this radar company called IMSAR. He is an "aviation observer", which means he gets to go up in the plane with the pilots and help them… do stuff. Plus, he gets to fly a lot and log hours! He is LOVING it and that makes me so happy. Jess is the type that needs to do things that he loves to be happy. After every flight I ask him, "are you sure you love flying? Do you still want to be a pilot?" and he thinks I'm crazy because "Who wouldn't love flying?!" 

A couple days after he started, the company had their annual picnic. It was up Hobble Creek canyon and they had great food, bouncy houses, a bull, and rock climbing wall. It was kind of awkward not knowing ANYONE but once Jesse's boss and the pilots came, it was better. It was fun to just be with Jesse.  

We are seriously so blessed because of this job. Flight hours are $150/hour and Jesse needs/wants quite a few. So, with this job, and getting to log flight hours, it is truly a blessing! We are so grateful. 

 We even rode the bull!
