North Carolina Beach Trip: Part 2

Day 3: Turns out the bed in our room was REALLY squeaky. Any subtle movement made the loudest noises.. and let me tell you, I did not sleep well the first night. I didn't think Jesse or I moved around a lot during the night but I was sure wrong. Anywho, so we got up and I did Zumba (as much as I could with my knee) with the girls and then I took a lonnnng (much needed) nap. After playing at the beach in the amazing waves, a delicious taco salad dinner, and sitting on the porch looking at the rainbows, we had our first night head ball game! Before coming on the trip, I was extremely sad about knowing I wasn't going to be able to play head ball because of my bad knee. It was SOO much fun last time and I didn't want to miss out on the fun. But, it actually wasn't too bad just watching. Jesse's family is seriously so athletic and it was fun to watch them play and get all competitive. They finished the game and got in the ocean for a night swim!

This was sadly our forecast for the week… But luckily, we finally got a few sunny days! :)

Everyone was just running around, being fit and all, and I was just watching, eating my corn nuts…. hahahah.

Day 4: A couple of us went to the local gym early in the morning before heading to Beaufort for an afternoon of shopping! All the girls, Pa, Grandad and Jon went and shopped around at these fun stores and got ice cream because it was raining all morning. The sun finally decided to come out and we were all ecstatic! We hurried home, changed, and enjoyed the rest of the warm day at the beach. The waves were huge and we were loving it! I finally got the whole boogie boarding thing down.We stayed outside for as long as possible just soaking up the sun! Then the rainstorm came and left a beautiful rainbow! After a delicious BBQ chicken dinner, Jesse and I watched a movie in bed the rest of the night!
