North Carolina Beach Trip: Part 3

Day 5: After a morning of doing Zumba, we took Roger's boat out to Shackleford Island for the day! We just hung out in the water, ate lunch, played games, and laid out on the boat. It was very relaxing and beautiful. We played on Rog's dock for a bit when we got back, then took a nice nap, and got ready. We had the most delicious pasta dinner, played the funniest game of What's Your's Like?, had brownies, and then Jess and I watched another movie in bed. It was a good day!
Seriously the most relaxing thing ever!
Doing tricks off Rog's dock!
Day 6: First thing in the morning I followed Kim and Liza on a bike on their 3 mile run! There is this awesome trail surrounding the neighborhood that was perfect for biking and running. Then we met the whole family at the beach for another game of headball! When we got back to the house Kim had the most amazing pancakes ready for everyone. It was so awesome. We played in the waves, practiced yoga moves on the beach, and laid out until the storms decided to come back! While it poured, Kim made popcorn for everyone and we had a little backgammon tournament. I finally beat Grandad! I think he let me win, but still. I felt pretty cool. Once the rain stopped, we played some bocce ball against the best team of Chris and Rog and lost, of course. Jess body surfed with Garner and Stella for hours while I sat in my cozy beach chair and watched. I got a quick nap in before dinner and Granbonnie's birthday party! She LOVED all her presents and cards from everyone. She is seriously the sweetest lady. I truly love her. It was quite the lovely day if you ask me!
Testing out the GoPro before headball!
We had quite the fun with the go pro in the ocean...
I seriously had so much fun playing in the ocean with J. He got me to stay out there longer than I usually do and I actually really enjoyed it.
I felt bad Jess had to have me on his team all the time… I'm not the best bocce player…
One of Bonnie's presents form Kim was this old picture of Roger and everyone was saying it looks just like Jesse!
Happy birthday to Granbonnie! We love you!
