North Carolina Beach Trip: Part 5

Day 9: Sadly it was time to head back to Raleigh before going home! We packed up and cleaned the houses and then we were on our way! We of course had to stop at Wendy's again for lunch and the Carhart outlet! All the boys got lots of great shirts for awesome prices. Once we got back to Granbonnie's in Raleigh, we hung out and played backgammon forever. We had dinner at Ann and Wade's next door at their amazing house! We sat on their porch for hours and listened to Grandaddy tell us stories about his life, which was so cool. We all watched shark week for the rest of the night (and were reeeeeeaally into it. We were all freaking out!) and then slept like a rock at Ann and Wades! 

It may be blurry, but I loved just all of us hanging out laying on any furniture we could find haha. And Jaybvrd is being a shark, obviously. 

 Day 10: Today was our last vacation day! Jess, Lize, Kim, and Pa went for a run while I did a little workout on Granbonnie's elliptical. I was really happy my knee let me do that because it felt AMAZING after eating junk food all week! After eating breakfast and getting ready we all headed to Grandaddy's new law office! It was so fun to see where him and uncle Rog work. Plus, we were able to walk around the pretty park for a bit. We had some time to kill before our plane so we went to the North Hill's mall for chik-fil-a lunch, target shopping, and J got a hair cut. After packing up, we drove to the airport and got our plane to Atlanta! Then we ate some extremely nasty chinese food at the airport before finally flying home!

This trip was seriously AMAZING! We were so spoiled. We had so much fun together and with J's family. I can't wait to go back! :)
