October Happenings

October has been an awesome month! Between work, dates, exercising, shopping, movies, sleep, tv.... we've had lots of fun. We are getting more and more excited for our future life in Texas but we are trying to enjoy our time here with both our families. Even though it's kind of far away... we are still soaking everything in.

Kickboxing class is my absolute favorite! Especially when friends and family join :)
Trips to Target with mom, Karrissa, and Miranda never disappoint. I, of course, had to take a picture in the "nursery" pretending Luca was my child. Of course.
Grey played hide and go seek while we shopped... his little bumcrack kills me.
A couple weekends ago date night consisted of going to the temple to do sealings with J, then meeting Braden, Marissa, Rachel, and Mike to see Meet the Mormons, and then to Chilis for dinner! It seriously was a much needed night out. Jesse and I have been super busy lately and we don't get much quality time together. So this was nice. Plus, Meet The Mormons was truly amazing! I LOVED it. Everyone in the world needs to watch it.
 Their "meet the mormons" face
Michael and Erin joined us too! Mmmmm.. my favorite restaurant.
Sometimes a trip to Target alone is all you need. And a new camo sweater, of course. :)
I worked my first full night shift the other day! 1800-0600. Let's just say... It. Was. Hard. I was fine until about 2 am but then I fell asleep when I went on break... bad idea! The rest of the shift was so tiring. It's not something I want to do forever, that's for sure. I am happy I haven't worked one since!
And no one was snap chatting me back at 3 am. Rude.
This is honestly my happy place. Sweats, my blanket, lunch, and a show by myself.
This was the second to last shift of my 60 hour work week. Sunday to Sunday I worked 60 hours. Yes, 15 of those were overtime, so that's nice, but I was exhausted. On Saturday I worked 18 hours straight and then came back the next morning for another 6 hours. I was tiiiiired. I wanted Sunday to be a special day with Jesse because we had barely seen each other this week. But we were both way to tired to do fun things like go up the canyon and stuff. We went to church, took a nap, then had a yummy dinner at his house, then went to bed. Not as special as I wanted, but at least I got to see him!
Whippin' treats out of his pocket like he is 5
McKinley drew this funny drawing of "the end of Jillbo Baggins" hahaha. So clever. So Jesse drew "the end of lysha". Such a sad way to go. Betrayed by my true love.
But... how perfect is he? He is such a beautiful human. I love him so much.
I finally had a day off to go sweat my brains out at kickboxing!
Eating lunch while watching Hook with my boyfriend
 My napping buddy :)
Mark got his mission call to the Czech Republic! We are SOO proud of him and his decision to serve. Such an exciting time! He leaves Feb 18th 2015.
Our checkout at Harmon's the other day was suuuuuper healthy. Hahaha. Buying the birthday boys (Chris and Michael) treats, plus our own treats for the night, and some randoms. We're normal, we know.
I went to Mary's in Layton for the first time in years with Karrissa and mom for a hair day! While there, I decided to add some red in my hair and I am LOVING it. We had fun eating lunch, talking, and getting our hairs did!
This is how movie night with the family usually ends on the weekend. Even during How To Train Your Dragon 2!! He's just the cutest little sleepy guy ever. So I take pictures like a creeper.
My pocahontas braid didn't last too long. My poor thin hair can't stay in place... it's fine.
We celebrated Chris and Michael's birthday by going to Extreme Air Sports and Sunday dinner. We had soooo much fun!  We took a whole bunch of cool slo mo videos, I got to practice my old gymnastics moves, and Jesse did lots of cool tricks. It was awesome.
Happy birthday, twinnies!
