December Random's
Non-Christmasy December Happenings...
Working hard to bring home that bacon haha
The end of the year awards ceremony where Jesse was replaced and is no longer the cadet wing commander! He worked so hard this semester and did a good job at inspiring those he led. The colonel had VERY nice things to say about Jess. I'm quite proud of him.
Lanham and Hedger switching positions!
I got called by my sister saying she was at the hospital because baby wasn't doing too well. So I rushed over in hopes of meeting my new niece! Luckily, everything was fine and she could go home. But we were really hoping to meet baby girl..
Hair day at Mary's!
A little friday night gym date at BYU...
It had been a while for me... so my hands were killing! But it was really fun. I was a little hyper... so Jess got to be entertained the whole time :)
By my lonesome self at the gym... With working so much these days I hardly make it to the gym as much as I want! But I'm trying!
Pedicures with mom and sis before baby comes!
I came from the gym... it's fine.
A delicious lunch with my favorite characters
A patient that used to be at the facility came back and brought donuts for everyone!
"hottest careers" Looks like I picked right.. :)
First day at our new ward!
Making lunches for the next day is a nightly occurrence. It's much more fun when cute Jess is there to help :)
So, I get to work and the first thing I hear on my radio is "State just walked in the door!" Dannnng. We are in our window for our state survey but I just really didn't want to be there when they came. So, I start my morning med pass and this nice lady asks if she can watch me pass meds to a couple people. Ahhh can you say nerve wrecking? It's not scary cause I think I'm doing my job wrong, it's just weird having someone watch your every move, ya know? Anywho. She watched me pass meds to like six people, asking questions along the way. Then... long story short, I held a blood pressure medication because the patient's blood pressure was low, and she asked me why, and I told her it was just a judgement call and I didn't feel comfortable giving it if the BP was low. Buuuuuut there was no order from the doctor to do such thing. Blahhh. So she went and told my boss and he came and yelled at me and told me "of course you have to call the doctor!!!" but like.. no. Our doctor could care less to get a call about such little things. But, whatever, so I called the doctor and had to tell the lady how I fixed the situation and all this stuff.. Blah blah blah. Even though I didn't do anything wrong. It was just stressful and no fun and not how I wanted to start my morning. So... here's the sad crying selfie I sent to Jess of my rough day.
That day was also the worst because I felt a sore throat coming!! Then I was sick for the next forever.... worst. ever.
