Jesse and I made some appointments up at Hill AFB to get our ID's and figure some moving logistics out! We got a lot of great information and were able to set a date for the movers to come! Such an exciting time!
Just a little brunch together on our day off...
We joined my sister's family at Joe's dental office's work party for a bbq and swimming at the Spanish Fork pool! Of course my brother captured me eating an uncrustable...hahaha. Fun time with the family :)

Just a beautiful sunset :)
Long story short -- my work has had a drastic drop in the number of patients recently, which equals staff having to be cut. I was losing some hours every weeks for a couple weeks, but then my boss called and "temporarily laid me off" until further notice when hours were available. It was a big shock and not what you need when you are the only source of income at the time for you and your husband and your future baby. It was a rough rough couple days because A. I just lost my job pretty much, B. Jesse was out of town, and C. the management and my boss at work were not very kind and didn't go about everything the right way. Anyway, so because my dad was gone and Jesse was gone, I asked Pa to give me a blessing. I really needed some strength and inspiration. So, this is me, waiting with Mr. Tom for Pa and Kim to get home to give me a blessing. I sure am grateful for the priesthood and the blessings able to come from proper use of it. After a rough couple days, I managed to get a few hours, and then finally the last two weeks before my last day, got more hours. But, as I look back now, it was a blessing in disguise, I think. I think the Lord knew what He was doing. The following weekend after getting laid off, I experienced some not so fun physical pain just from pregnancy stuff. I pulled a muscle in my groin and was seriously unable to walk for multiple days, my stomach was stretching and hurting... etc. So, the rest I needed I was able to get because I didn't have to go to work.
And even though I was so scared to be in a new place, I was able to get some hours at a sister facility in Provo, so that was good. I finally got the courage to schedule myself there and Jess was real proud apparently. Ha, what a good man. Knows how much of a baby I am ;)
27 weeks!
Trip to Ikea with Karrissa, my mom, and the 5 children! It was a little crazy but we made it through :) In-n-out afterwards, of course. Because that's all I crave. Plus cinnamon rolls at the time.
I couldn't stop thinking about how I wanted cinnamon rolls, so my dearest sister bought me this :)
Lopsided alien tummy
Little did I know how big that tummy was going to grow even more....haha
So, one morning I woke up with terrible left sided chest pain that felt like just trapped air. I did all the tricks I could think of to get the "air out" and make my rib feel better. Well, after about a day and a half of literally only having relief of pain while laying on my left side and trying not to breathe too deeply, I decided to go to the ER. I was nervous I had a PE or something! And I was in so much pain, I just wanted to figure it out. Of course, it was like 11:30 pm when we decided this, but luckily were at my parents house so my mom came with us. Then, of course, the ER made us go to labor and delivery to make sure baby was okay. Even though I knew she was and the on call OB told the ER doc to treat me as if I weren't pregnant cause he knew it wasn't a pregnancy problem. Anyway, so that took lots of time, then we finally saw the ER doc and he decided that it was most likely a broken rib after doing some tests. So, that's great. Nothing I can do. He offered pain pills, but I said I was okay. So, pointless trip to the ER. Luckily, the next couple days it calmed down and finally went away. Weird.
Such troopers they are
Sleepy Jillbo...
28 week doctor appointment -- glucose drink!
We took an afternoon and went through all our stuff we had been storing at Michael and Erin's! So fun to find old things we had forgotten about.
Looking and feeling more and more pregnant every day
Story with this picture -- about a week prior to this moment, I had just finished writing a large tithing check (it had been a little while... so it was adding up) when I was going through some mail and old papers and stumbled upon a tithing envelope. I was like...what is this? Opened it up to find another large tithing check! Turns out we never paid that one. I secretly didn't want to tell Jesse cause I knew he would have us pay both...hahaha jokes. But that was going to be a like, over $1000 in one tithing check. So, we paid it and didn't look back. Anyway. So, fast forward to this moment in the gym, we got a call from a Texas number, and I wasn't going to answer it but then Jesse said "maybe it's the housing people!" So, I answered and guess who it was? The base housing company! She said "I just wanted to let you know that we have a house ready for you!" Ahhhh I can't tell you how relieved and happy I was in that moment. Sometimes when you get on base, your house isn't ready yet so you have to live in temporary housing without all your stuff and everything, and I was so worried this was going to happen to us. Worried mostly because we have a baby on the way, who could arrive at any time. So, to have a house ready for us that we can drive directly to is a HUUUUGGE blessing. As soon as I got off the phone Jesse said, "remember how we just paid that tithing check?" Obviously who knows why things happen when they do, but it just felt like the biggest blessing in the whole world. So grateful for a God who is mindful of our lives.
Laying out, soaking up the rays! Once again, I lasted like two minutes before feeling like I was roasting!
It was like Christmas morning had arrived on my moms front porch! :) I had ordered the crib, rocking chair, strolller, and car seat and they all showed up at once!
