Moses Lake Trip August 2015
We always look forward to our Moses Lake trips! And as always, this years trip didn't disappoint!
Bright and early, this gang is ready for a long drive!
McDonalds for breakfast of course
It was quite the uncomfortable drive for me... luckily Jesse was awesome and drove the whole way so Tasha and I could relax!
Stopped for lunch!
I'm all about a chocolate milkshake these days
Finally made it --- just in time for the beautiful sunset!
Our first day was filled with pancakes, badminton, laying out, playing on the jet skis, naps, dinner, and Big Brother watching!
Look at that sunrise! Thanks to Tasha for being awake early enough to capture it :)
Tuesday was more of the same, of course. A walk in the morning, went to Grandma and Grandpas to visit them and help power wash their house, laying out, playing with the kids in the pool, naps, treats, and Imagine If!
Addi did not want to be in her stroller, so I took over for a little bit :)
We all sat around while Jesse did the hard work ;)
Apparently people think its funny to take pictures of the pregnant lady eating...rude...
Wednesday we decided to switch things up a little and head to this little beach area with Leslie and her family. It was small but shallow water so it was good for the kids! More badminton, swimming in the lake followed. I was 30 weeks today! So, that's a fun milestone. We celebrated with a nice nap and delicious dinner :)
Trying to get a good picture when you have a husband that looks like him and you are a pregnant lady in a swimsuit proved to be rather difficult...it's fine.
30 weeks!
Snackin' snackin' always snackin'
Thursday was no different -- in a good way. Badminton, swimming, naps, food, ticket to ride, Master Chef, Big Brother, laughter... it's all just a real nice relaxing vacation.
Jess against the parentals
You make those meatballs, B!
Sweats, treats, and games :)
Friday = playing with babies all morning, swimming, badminton, spikeball, naps, food, and then we all got showered and dressed for the first time and headed to Chico's to meet the entire extended family for dinner. But that lasted about five seconds when we found out the wait time was over 2 hours. So we headed home, and watched the game while we waited for it to be delivered to us :) Oh how I love Chico's pizza!
Of course Jesse went to the gym every morning we were here -- even convinced Karrissa and Joe to come sometimes :)
Convinced him to play some backgammon with me!
All my favorite girls :)
Once again, trying to get a good picture can be rough...
Finally got one with a different angle and a nicer camera haha
The next couple days are a blur in my memory... haha we had the extended family over for most the weekend, which was fun! More spikeball, swimming, and badminton of course, Plus, we celebrated my grandma's birthday a little early with a BBQ and presents!
They all looked so miserable...haha
Getting massages from aunt Linda!
Turns out the pullout bed we were supposed to sleep on wasn't so comfy. So I resorted to the couch cushions which were weirdly more comfortable than the air mattress.
My lovely fam bam
The whole gang
Because Tasha flew back to Indiana, Jesse and I drove home alone! It was fun to be together. Once again, he was a rockstar and drove the whole way. I was able to sleep a lot and was more comfortable. We just ate treats and watched movies. And finally made it home safely!
A huge thank you to my parents for, once again, providing a wonderful memorable vacation for our family! It was a much needed relaxing break :)
