Mom and Karrissa Arrive

My mom flew in on the 23rd, after debating and debating when to come, but I think holding off when we knew the baby wasn't coming any time soon was a good idea. After a day of delayed flights and lost luggage, we finally picked her up at the airport and went straight to dinner at Texas Roadhouse! It was so good to catch up with her.

The next day the "awesome mother is in town" things began! We spent Saturday shopping, shopping, and more shopping, after taking a walk around the track together :) It was good mother-daughter time for sure. Plus, I was contracting pretty good from walking around all day. Old Navy had a wonderful sale, so of course we had to spend some time in there getting clothes for us and the baby. Then my mom helped me pick out the last couple house and baby items we need at Target and TJ Maxx. That night she made us homemade chicken noodle soup! I was craving it and was sure happy to have my mom's love put into it! ;) Haha! Sunday we all went to church together, hung out, watched Shark Tank, took naps, and had the Bracken's over for dinner. Plus, we started watching Star Wars. We decided to watch all 6 in preparation for the new one coming out in December...so that's been keeping us busy at night.

Monday was finishing up errands and relaxing at home. Tuesday afternoon I had one more doctor's appointment. I was almost 41 weeks at this point and once again, only dilated to barely at 1 and not much change from the week before. We set an induction date for Wednesday evening/Thursday morning. Luckily, Karrissa and Addi arrived that night!! I am so happy my sweet sister took time out of her life to come here to be with me for the delivery. Wednesday we went on a walk around the block then got ready to head out shopping! Jesse went to work and we went to Charming Charlie's (and had a blast! So many great things there. Shopping is what us three do best:)) and Carters. We had lunch at Olive Garden together then went home to nap before the night of induction began!

We found this on facebook and thought it accurately described my feelings
