Utah Trip: Week 1

Traveling with a newborn baby, a stroller, a carseat, a diaper bag, and three checked on suitcases would have been quite nearly impossible without my dearest father!! Lucy slept the whole drive to Dallas, I fed her when we got to the airport, then she slept most of the plane ride, and I fed her one more time on the plane. Luckily the man sitting next to me was sound asleep... I tried really hard not to bump elbows with him haha! I am so grateful for my dad. He was a huge help! I was so nervous to take Lucy, she was so young, but he made easy! We stopped by Ryan and Miranda's on the way home to my parents new house in Elk Ridge. It was so good seeing my family :)

The first week home was mostly me sitting around, snuggling baby girl, watching shows (enjoying the parents new house!), spending time with mine and Jesse's families, still recovering from what my body had been through just three short weeks ago! My mother was super helpful and took Lucy early in the mornings, or at night so I could get some sleep. I loved being at home with my parents, and next door to the Winwards. I've missed those times! Luckily the trip home to Utah was just beginning!
Grey loves Lucy! He was so cute with her. The whole time we were in Utah he kept asking "does she know what to do with her hands yet?"
Meeting more family! The videos of Jesse's family meeting Luce for the first time are adorable!
