Week By Week

Now that I'm a stay at home mom, not much changes day to day. Which means, I won't have much to blog about besides adorable pictures of baby girl and random family activities. So, we'll just take things week by week!

Jesse's casual job is super, well, casual. He goes in around 9:30 am and is home by 12:30pm. He usually goes to the gym after that and then we have the rest of the day to be together. We are trying to soak up the relaxing time together before the craziness of pilot training starts.

I love getting to spend all day with my little bestie every day. We clean the house, take naps, read books, sing songs, watch shows, workout at home, make dinner, and go on walks. Some days are hard, though, of course. We get bored, I get tired, Lucy can be fussy or pooping through like four outfits, and sometimes I feel like even though I'm home all I day I can't get anything done. It's quite strange. The days kind of blur together because they are mostly the same. But honestly, Lucy makes me so happy.

Lately Jesse has been watching Lucy after work while I go grocery shopping or to the gym for a quick workout. It's nice for me to get out of the house and think about something other than feeding and changing a baby, haha!

Seriously though...this face!
What I do when Lucy naps :)
We enjoyed having the missionaries over for dinner for the first time! It was fun to get to know them and enjoy the spirit they brought into our home.
 Sleepy eyes for us both!
 She's seriously the best.
Facetiming Rachel and Mike and our new niece Caroline!
Nothing better than bath and bedtime with our sweet baby girl!
For my birthday I wanted a subscription to Daily Burn and some dumbells...so the other day Jess and I went out and bought a few things! It's been nice having the equipment needed to get a decent workout at home.

The night before this day was a rough one. Sometimes being a mom is hard...who knew, right?! Sometimes I cry for no reason, and am sleep deprived, and am anxious about every little thing. Luckily, after a night of no sleep and a very bad day, Jesse took me and Lucy to dinner then put us both to bed, then kept the baby monitor and slept in the spare bedroom, and brought Lucy to me just when she needed to eat. Which meant I got 4-6 uninterrupted hours of sleep. I honestly felt like a whole new person the next day! Thank you Jesse for taking care of us!
She loves when daddy comes home!
Jess watched Lucy while I showered and I came downstairs to find them "slow dancing" to rock music...haha, it was strange, but it was so cute because Lucy fell sound asleep! I love watching their relationship grow each day.
Being a parent is scary...every little thing that happens is nerve-wrecking and we feel like we don't know what to do half the time. Lucy had this rash for a few days and we didn't know why! Luckily after some vaseline and lotion, she woke up and it was gone!
Standing up like a big kid!
Just being the sweetest little church girl!
I'm gonna be sad whenever I stop nursing and I don't get these moments with her any more. So I'm going to soak it up!
