Five Year Anniversary

March 19th, 2016 marked FIVE YEARS since our wedding day! How crazy is that?! I remember that day so well, it's insane that it was five years ago. We have made so many good memories in the last five years. It's so fun to look back at all we been through and how we've grown as a couple. And honestly, we are exactly where we thought we would be. A year into our marriage, we had this grand plan of Jesse doing well in ROTC, me graduating nursing school, Jesse getting into ENJJPT and us eventually moving to Texas, and having a baby as soon as we moved here. We surely have been blessed by the Lord! We feel so grateful for all that has happened in the last five years.

Because of pilot training and little miss Lucy, we couldn't exactly celebrate this momentous day the way we would want (a cruise or any type of little trip!) but that's okay, we had a good day together! We mostly hung out around the house together all day. We watched our wedding video, which was super fun and sentimental. It may have made me cry happy tears:) We dropped Lucy off at our friends house and went out to dinner to Salt and Pepper. We seriously were going to go to Olive Garden because that was literally the nicest restaurant we could think of in Wichita Falls...haha! Luckily our friend told us about this mediterranean place that was a little fancier! We were happy with our choice -- it was little and cute and definitely nicer than the good ol OG! Jesse got a (real expensive) filet mignon that was delicious! We sure enjoyed our time together, getting to laugh and talk about old memories, and to think about new things for our future. We talked about where we want to be in the next five years -- careers, new places to live, more kids. It was wonderful.

It's amazing how your love can grow so much over time. And in different ways. I thought I couldn't love Jesse more on our wedding day, but I have been proved wrong over and over again! :) 

So, happy five years to us! And here's to another five! :) 

Lucy woke us up and gave us a really nice present...throwing up all over me! Little stink!
