Lucy 4 Months

Lucy's month from 3-4 was a good but hard one. She had lots of constipation issues and completely changed her sleeping schedule (woke up lots at night time and would not nap more than 25 minutes and had to be nursed to sleep). Those two things by themselves made it a little difficult for this mama! That being said, she has also been so much fun! Jesse and I keep saying this is one of our favorite stages.

She is smiling and laughing all the time, learned to really roll over and got good at it, loves to play with toys, puts everything in her mouth, got some more chunky rolls, loves bath time and going on walks, and is still a great nurser.

We love Lucy girl so much. It's like this weird thing that no one else but yourself can understand, the amount of love. Like, obviously I've always known people love their kids but you never realize how much, or what it feels like, until you experience it for yourself. We are so grateful she is our daughter. She makes us so happy.

Jesse reminded me the other day that Lucy means light -- and boy is that what Lucy is! She lights up a room. Her gummy smile, adorable laugh, and bright eyes are just the best. She is such a joy in our lives. How did we ever live without her?! (oh, with a bunch of sleep? that's how ;))

15 lbs 2 oz and 27 inches long! 99th percentile for height...tall girl!
When it takes your doctor 45 minutes to see you...you do what you can to entertain yourself. Like take pictures of your baby.

It's hard work being a growing baby!
