March 7th-10th : Bedtime Routine, A Date, and Getting Over Knee Pain
Mornings with Lu Lu :)
Always trying to eat my face
She's the best :)
What more do I have to do than sit there and take pictures of my adorable baby?! Not much...
Peek-a-boo!
Trying on Lucy's swimsuits for the summer! :)
Those leg rolls though :)
Trying on and taking pictures of Aunt Miranda's new bows she's going to sell! :)
Hahahaha -- only the greatest picture of all time! Jess was watching Lucy while I took a quick nap and this is what happened... He said she wouldn't stop trying to grab his controller so this was his solution. Haha, legit monkey!
Awww my freshly bathed baby! :)
I love the bedtime routine we have for miss Lucy -- we've got it down pat! If it's bath night, we give a bath, diaper and lotion, jammies, dad reads a story and makes animal noises with her while looking at the projector light, we say prayers together, then I nurse her and put her in her crib. She usually falls right asleep, which is nice! I love this little ritual we have as a family each night :)
Trying to get Lucy to take naps without having to be nursed to sleep... her sad sleepy face after me letting her cry for a bit :(
Two of our sweet couple friends asked if they could watch Lucy so we could go out on a date before training started. Nice, huh?! We thought it would be easiest to go after Lucy was asleep, and by that time, it was a little later and Jesse just wanted pancakes. So, we went to Denny's for our fancy night out ;) It was so nice though to sit together and laugh and talk and make goals for the next year while he's in training. I sure love my Jesse....more without that nasty mustache though ;) We came home and played nerts with our friends after!
Lucy was being exceptionally cute so I had to take a few pictures, of course. Her laugh...goodness, it's my favorite. She has the best smile!
After deciding once again to take control of my life-altering knee pain, I got a referral to see another orthopedic surgeon. My MRI and X-Ray were negative and the doctor decided that I have chronic tendonitis caused by scar tissue from previous surgeries. The best part? There is nothing he can do. Told me to find low impact exercise that doesn't hurt it, and just have to deal with the pain. Told me that is sucks for me to have such bad pain at such a young age. Ha, ya, you think?! Trying to optimistic but it's a bit difficult at this point.
