Pilot Training Begins
Friday March 11th pilot training officially began for Jesse! It was just a day of briefings, but still, it started! It's crazy, we have been thinking and talking about this for years, and now it's finally here! And even though this casual life has been awesome (Jesse coming home at 11 every day, getting to spend so much time as a family, etc), we are ready for this new journey!
That day Lucy had to get her four month shots! :( I was nervous to take her by myself cause it makes me so sad but she did so good! She only cried for a few minutes and then was tough :) She took a few good naps that day before heading to drop night. We had a welcome/meet and greet thing with Jesse's class and all the guys in charge. It was fun to meet the classmates and everything, made it feel more real.
Saturday and Sunday we just wanted to spend together to enjoy our last days of freedom! ;) We hung around the house, went grocery shopping, had Lucy try rice cereal for the first time, watched Interstellar with John, Aspen, Randy, and Kris, then had a good day at church!
After church on Sunday we went to a BBQ with his class, napped, meal prepped and made some goals with each other. Now that our schedules are changing and Jesse is going to be busier for the next 55 weeks, we just wanted to be on the same page about everything. We made some good physical, financial, and spiritual goals. It was a good way to end the weekend!

The aftermath of our nap :)
After school snack for the boys ;)
ENJJPT class 17-04 :) as designated drivers for drop night
Our besties here at Sheppard! Aspen, John, Kristin, and Randy -- Lucy was zonked out!
Lucy wasn't feeling too well Saturday afternoon :( She needed some snuggles with dad, for sure!
She was holding my arm sooooo cutely while we were watching American Idol! And no, I don't let her just stare at the tv, don't worry :)
I love her so much!
Lucy's first "solid" food! Rice cereal 03/12/16
She ended up just wanting to play with the spoon, of course.
Jesse always does this while getting her ready for her bath! She loves it.
Sunday pics :)
