Grandma Jill Visits

My dearest mother just couldn't go any longer and needed to see little Lucy! So, she booked her ticket and came and played with us for a week! :) As always, her company was the best. I loved having a buddy every day to do stuff with. It was nice catching up talking in person finally, laughing, and playing with Lucy! We went shopping (of course!) and got lots of great stuff (because my mom is great and likes to help her children get things they usually wouldn't spend their money on like decorative pillows, random kitchen supplies, wreaths, pots/soil/flowers, etc.), grocery shopped, exercised, went on walks, watched shows, made yummy dinners, and got scared of the crazy rainstorms/tornado warnings! It's always nice to have a little piece of home come visit you in your new home; especially when it's your mommy! :) I'm sure grateful I have an amazing example of a Christ-like, selfless, and loving mom/grandma. We were grateful she flew out to play with us! Luckily, we get to go visit Utah soon so we didn't have to say goodbye for too long!

Lucy's first time going down the slide ended in a few tears....she was sitting on the edge and grandma and mom weren't being careful enough and she fell off and bonked her head! :( She was so sad, it was so sad!

My mom was super awesome and worked out everyday and somehow I just got super lazy and watched her...hahaha

TJ Max, Target, Charming Charlie, Carters, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kirklands, Sports Academy, Old Navy, Hobby Lobby, Tuesday Morning....you name the store, we probably went to it! ;)

Oh yeah, Jesse was there too! ;) Sadly, he was so busy, we didn't get to spend too much time together, but we were sure happy when we did!

I have been wanting to get some flowers for our front porch and so my mom helped me pick some out! We had fun getting all the stuff and planting them. Now they are growing and are so pretty!

One night after putting Lucy to bed, my mom and I went and saw the movie Allegiant! Us, and the one other man in the theater with us, enjoyed ourselves! ;)
